Experience the atmosphere of race day at Washington-on-the Brazos on Saturday May 17! Live horse racing demonstrations will take place at 11am, 1pm, and 3pm. Enjoy the tent tavern, Faro gamin table, and stick horse races for kids of all ages.

Join us for our fourth ever Kids Reading to Kids program!! Joining us for the month of May is Grace Patrick! According to her mother "Grace is a 5th grade homeschool student. Her favorite subject in school is Literature; she has enjoyed reading Lois Lowry’s “Number the Stars” this year. She loves Jesus, animals, dancing, crocheting, theatre, and is quite the comedian. Grace loves to read and hopes to share her joy of a good book with others!" Grace also plans to bring some snacks and activities for after her event! Come and meet Grace at the Bush Family Home Visitor's Center on Saturday, May 17th, at 1 pm!

Monthly Thursday Reading Program

Thursday 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.

Get ready for our next reading program, featuring a sweet book about nature titled, "Up In the Garden and Down in the Dirt" by Kate Messner. As always, children will get a free copy of the featured book and partake in a related activity or craft! However, this monthly Thursday program will take place on the fourth Thursday of the month instead of the third Thursday of the month! Just this once! We'll see you here on May 22 at 5:30!
