Quill to Cover: Historic Writing and Printing Summer Camp

Our third and final summer camp this year will be called Quill to Cover: Historic Writing and Printing and will be hosted at San Felipe de Austin from July 9 - 12. The camp will run from 9 am to 12:30 pm Tuesday through Friday and will be $40 per child. This camp is for kids ages 9 – 13 years old.

Demo Day: Medicine Making

For this Demo Day, venture to the San Jacinto monument to learn about the medical techniques used in the 1830s. Visitors will learn about the four humors, grind up traditional remedies with a mortar and pestle, and even get to see demonstrations of real 19th century medical equipment!
