Our first summer camp this year will be called Road to Revolution and will be hosted at San Felipe de Austin from June 18 – 21. The camp will run from 9 am to 12:30 pm Tuesday through Friday and will be $40 per child. This camp is for kids ages 9 – 13 years old.
San Felipe de Austin played an important role on the road to the Texas Revolution and Independence. This story has been largely overlooked in the broader story of the Republic of Texas. Learn about the town's history as a whole from founding to revolutionary ideas, to the burning of the town during the Runaway scrape and finally focus on archeology and the town's story today.
