5th Annual Easter Egg Hunt on the grounds of the Lighthouse for Saturday, March 30. The event starts at 9 a.m. when the Easter Bunny arrives. Easter Egg Hunt: 10 a.m.
It’s a different kind of “hunt”. Over 20,000 eggs will be scattered on the hill of the Lighthouse. 1,000 RED eggs marked Port Isabel Lighthouse State Historic Site will be included in the hunt containing instructions for a History Hunt! Follow the directions to earn prizes while learning about the history of the Lighthouse. Participants will need to bring their own baskets and will line up on the north and south sides of Lighthouse Park. At 10 a.m. the starting line will be released, and the fun begins.
Open to the public. No admission fee to event. Lighthouse Hours on Easter Egg Hunt Day: 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. Visitor Center Hours: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
