The militia during the time of Stephen F. Austin had certain roles that it needed to fill, certain tasks that they needed to do, and a number of commands that they needed to know. Since every able bodied person could be called upon to help out if the need arose, it was important to drill, train and prepare. Come and join the militia for the day at San Felipe de Austin.
