The Fanthorp Inn is partnering with the Sons of the Republic of Texas to host a special ceremony in honor of the last Vice-President of the Republic of Texas and our town's namesake, Kenneth Lewis Anderson who was laid to rest at the Fanthorp Family Cemetery on July 9, 1845.
There will be a musket salute, wreath laying and speeches to honor the memory of one of the most beloved statesmen of the Republic.
