While he is best known for being one of two Tejanos signers of the Texas Declaration of Independence, Navarro also fought for Tejano rights and was a proponent of the economical growth of the region.

It all begins in the Old 300 Learning Hall at 6pm. Light refreshments to be served! Admission is free of charge, with all free-will donations benefiting the Friends of the San Felipe de Austin State Historic Site
