Historic Pathways: The Legacy of Mission Dolores
Capacity: Up to 15 people per tour
Timing: 30 to 45 minutes, Wednesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Cost: Families $8, adults $5, teachers, veterans, and seniors $3, Children $2, ages and under free
Journey through the remarkable history of Mission Dolores, exploring its role as a cultural and geopolitical hub between Spanish Texas, French Louisiana, and the Native American tribes that resided in the region. Begin with a viewing of the site's introductory video, followed by a guided tour through the museum exhibits. Conclude with an outdoor visit to the Mission Dolores and El Camino Real historical marker.
School Tour
Time Travelers: A Journey Through 1700s Spanish Texas
Grades: K-12th Grade
Capacity: 30 students
Timing: 1 to 1.5 hours, Wednesday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Cost: $1 per student. One chaperone for every 10 students is free; additional adults are $1 per person.
Inspire your students’ curiosity about the history of Spanish Texas with an engaging visit to Mission Dolores, built over 300 years ago along the El Camino Real de los Tejas. After viewing an introductory video, students will learn about the daily lives of the friars and soldiers at this site through interactive storytelling, exploration of artifacts and exhibits, and facilitated discussion.

Accessibility
The Mission Dolores museum is fully accessible. A wheelchair is available on site for public use. The site hiking trail is not presently ADA accessible.
Facilities
Restrooms are available on site, in the building across from the museum and near the picnic pavilion across the highway. Visitors are encouraged to bring picnic items to enjoy in the picnic area.
At the Mission Dolores campground, visitors can camp overnight.
Visitor parking is available on site at the visitor center and campgrounds.
