Our Red River War series comes to a conclusion as Goodnight Ranch educator, Madeleine Van Leunen discusses the JA Ranch and the settlement of the Texas Panhandle. Established in 1876, in a partnership between Charles Goodnight and Cornelia and John Adair, it has remained to this day under the ownership and management of Cornelia’s descendants. Programs will be presented at 11:00 am, 1:00 and 3:00 pm and are free to the public. A short tour of the historic Goodnight home will follow.
