CHC & TASN Roundtable
This roundtable features Texas Archeological Stewardship Network (TASN) stewards and County Historical Commission (CHC) appointees sharing how they have collaborated to reach historic preservation goals. Based on findings from a questionnaire completed by CHC appointees and TASN stewards, both groups reported positive interactions, the need to improve communication, and a better understanding of their roles and responsibilities. Attendees will learn how to work collaboratively with CHC appointees and TASN stewards to advance preservation of historic and archeological resources.
CHC & County Liaison Partnerships
This webinar explores the working relationships between CHCs and County Liaisons. Learn how liaisons facilitate communication between elected officials and CHC appointees, and how collaboration advances historic preservation at the local level. Attendees will receive recommendations for strengthening these essential partnerships, templates for assessing their current relationship, and guidance for selecting or recruiting a liaison. The content for this webinar is based on a report by Dr. Jennifer Rogers. Data was collected from a questionnaire provided to CHC Chair and County Liaison in 2024.
