Stephen F. Austin State Park Nature Center (located one mile west of San Felipe de Austin State Park)
Please join us at Stephen F. Austin State Park (located 1 mile west of San Felipe de Austin State Historic Site) for a presentation discussing Austin's first contract with the newly formed and newly independent Mexican government. As the first empresario (or land contractor) in a state and country that still didn't have a working constitution, Austin was given many powers that later empresarios were no given.
This event will take place at 10am on Saturday, July 8th and will be presented in the Nature Center at Stephen F. Austin State Park.
Admission to Stephen F. Austin State Park required. Texas Park Pass holders admitted free of charge!
