Excited for the solar eclipse this fall? Join us on Friday, October 13th at 2pm for a dive into the solar eclipse that traversed the town of San Felipe de Austin during it's prime in the year 1831. Learn how this eclipse is similar to our 2023 eclipse, news reports from around America covering the eclipse, and viewing techniques prior to our modern eclipse glasses.

The program will include an informational presentation as well as eclipse-focused activities for children. This event is included with the price of admission!
