Judge Eddie E. Harrison Juneteenth Heritage Celebration

Join us at Washington-on-the-Brazos State Historic Site Saturday, June 24th from 10am-4:30pm for the Annual Judge Eddie E. Harrison Juneteenth Heritage Celebration! The event is Family friendly and FREE to enjoy! This year we are celebrating the Legacy of the Black Cowboy. There will be great food, vendors, live music and performers, a genealogy workshop, and cowboy demonstrations. In the afternoon we will be holding a baseball game, and everyone is encouraged to play! Exhibits topics include Mance Lipscomb, Johnnie Swearingen' paintings, and the Black Cowboy Museum's Cowboy Camp. We hope that you can join us for a fun filled day to celebrate the Black Cowboy!
