A perfect room for meetings, parties, and more, our Old 300 Learning Hall is temperature controlled and has a private entrance for your guests with convenient access to parking. This room has flexible seating arrangements from round and rectangular tables, cocktail tables, and lecture-style seating. With plenty of natural light and gorgeous scenery, it provides the perfect ambiance to your event. The Old 300 Learning Hall can be rented in conjunction with the Outdoor Map Plaza (additional fees apply).
Outdoor Map Plaza

Looking for an outdoor event venue for your larger family reunion or wedding? Look no further than our Outdoor Map Plaza! With a tall, covered roof and great cross-breeze, weather will be no hindrance to your event no matter the rain or shine. Round, rectangular, and cocktail-sized tables are available on our Map Plaza for all your rental needs. The Outdoor Map Plaza can be rented in conjunction with the Old 300 Learning Hall (additional fees apply).
Weddings at San Felipe de Austin
With historic charm and modern class, San Felipe de Austin can make your dream wedding come to life! From ceremony and reception space, catering, linens, and a range of decor, we are your one-stop-shop for many of your wedding needs! Our outdoor, Villa de Austin can provide the rustic-charm you are seeking for your ceremony. Looking for a more traditional ceremony? Directly across from the museum is the San Felipe Methodist Church which can host you ceremony within walking distance of the museum. For your reception, we have outdoor and indoor space available. For outdoor receptions, have the peace-of-mind of a covered outdoor facility to ensure those unexpected sprinkles don't crash your party. The Old 300 Learning Hall and Outdoor Map Plaza can be rented together to meet the needs of your event (additional fees apply).
Facilities can be rented to accommodate a wide range of hours and dates. Rental fees are charged hourly and include all table and chair setup by facility staff. Catering, black and white linens, and a selection of decor (including seasonal decor) can be rented for an additional fee.
Please book all rentals with a minimum of two weeks notice. All rental inquiries are honored on a first-come, first-serve basis.
