Have you ever been curious about how soldiers on the frontier recieved pay? How soldiers spent their time at the fort when they were not in the field? If so then this event is for you! Come on out to Fort McKavett September 4-6 and talk with the soldiers as they brink Fort McKavett to life!
Over the course of the weekend you can step back in time and see what it was like to be a soldier stationed at Fort McKavett. While you walk around the site you will get to experience some of the same sounds, smells, and sights that the soldiers once experienced while they were staioned here.
There will be a $2 charge per person in addition to the normal site fees for this event.
