From Research to Reality: Comparing what we know about the historical Mission Dolores to the Texas Historical Commission’s construction plans.

With no remains left above ground researchers have relied on archaeological excavations and primary documents to determine what Mission Dolores looked like.  In honor of Texas Archaeology Month, site educator Amy will share some of these sources and examine how the Texas Historical Commission used this research to design our mission evocation project.
