On Saturday, July 5th, we focus on the color blue by dyeing with indigo: the standard in blue dye throughout history!
The indigo trade was alive and well in the time of Austin's Colony. In fact, indigo could even be grown in the area! Come see why this dye was a must-have by those living in the past.
The dyeing process will take place from 10am to 3pm on Saturday, July 5th! Dyed products will be on display until 4pm.
