Your Passport to Texas: A French Adventure Awaits!
Petits Texans are invited to join the French Legation's half day French Language & History Camp. This passport to frontier Texas is lead in partnership with Education Française Austin teachers to guide ages 8 through 10 on a fun learning journey to explore where Texas meets France. Celebrating French and Texan cultures through the lens of history during America 250. Programs and activities include cultural activities from historic games to songs, and crepe making to French language, and everything in between!
Campers enjoy exclusive access to the French Legation grounds and structures before regular opening hours. gates open at 8:30am and camp begins each day at 9:00 am ending at 12:30pm daily the first week of June, June 1st through 5th.
Registration is $250 per camper and includes materials and instruction.
Half day camp with no meals provided. French fluency not required.
Campers must be rising or just completed 4th graders (ages 8-10).

Camp begins at 9:00am but the gates will open at 8:30am.
Pick-up is at 12:30pm each day for this half day camp.
Snacks are provided and made too by campers in the course of activities.
Campers can bring their own snacks if desired too or participating in after-hours care provided by Texas Historical Commission staff.
Additional extended after-hours care is available for the first dozen campers at an additional cost of $150 until 2:30pm each day. Please indicate your interest in registration materials to confirm availability.
