Join us April 16th at 5:30pm to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Eisenhower’s Birthplace State Historic Site by learning about presidential birthplaces! Hosted by staff member Albany Martin, this presentation explores what factors make prospective house museums, in this case presidential birthplaces, most qualified for preservation. Visitors will learn about how house museums are turned into museums, and what factors are considered when creating house museums. Following the presentation, visitors will participate in an activity to put what they learned to the test!
