Please join us on Thursday, May 29th at 6pm for the next program in our History at Night series: A Cotton Plantation and a Dream - Washington-on-the-Brazos Rediscovered!

For more than 100 years Washington-on-the-Brazos has welcomed visitors with the opportunity to stand where a nation was born in 1836. Over the decades the site has grown to include the restored home of Anson Jones and the Star of the Republic Museum. Now, new discoveries are informing the next big thing at the historic site. Join Washington-on-the-Brazos Site Manager, Jonathan Failor as we explore the exciting redevelopment happening at the place where Texas became Texas.

This program is free of charge and light refreshments will be provided. Any free will donations benefit our program sponsor, the Friends of the San Felipe de Austin State Historic Site. Please note, this event takes place at the San Felipe de Austin State Historic Site in San Felipe, Texas (one hour south of Washington-on-the-Brazos State Historic Site).
