Join Master Gardener Mitzi McBee for an informative and hands-on workshop all about heirloom tomatoes! Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned gardener, this free event is designed to help you master the art of growing these unique and flavorful varieties.  Please bring your favorite tomato recipe also for a Recipe Exchange.

Discover the secrets to success as Mitzi shares her expert knowledge on soil preparation, watering techniques, nutrient management, fertilization, pollination, pruning, and how to prevent and manage common diseases. With over 16 heirloom tomato varieties available for you to explore, you'll gain insight into the distinct characteristics and growing needs of each one.

Participants will have the chance to select a tomato seedling to take home and nurture, putting their newfound knowledge into practice right away. Whether you're growing in a garden or containers, this workshop will equip you with all the tools and tips you need to cultivate a healthy, bountiful tomato harvest.
