Join us as we savor history through foods in El Paso! Using an historic recipe from the El Paso Cook Book published in 1898, the staff will explore the history of Mormon settlers who escaped from Mexico to El Paso during the Mexican Revolution. Mormon foodways focused on wheat, so these muffins will be a perfect chance to discuss their community's contribution to modern El Paso.
