Join Caddo Mounds State Historic Site and Caddo citizens for a joyful day of celebration honoring Caddo history, heritage, and contemporary culture.

🌿 Caddo Culture Day is a family-friendly event full of learning, laughter, and connection. Come enjoy hands-on experiences, exciting exhibitions, and the chance to visit with Caddo artists and culture bearers.

💫 Activities include:

Traditional Caddo Cooking with Caddo Citizen Chase Kahwinhut Earles

Stickball exhibition and hands-on learning opportunities, Morning session 10-11:30, Afternoon session 1-2:30. Each session will have an introduction to stickball, demonstrations, hands-on skills drills, a no tackle scrimmage, Q&A, and closing remarks. All are welcome to participate.

🌻 The event is presented in part with support from the Friends of Caddo Mounds. Visit the Friends table during the event to learn how to volunteer with Caddo Mounds projects, explore current initiatives, and enter raffle opportunities!

🍴 The Friends of Caddo Mounds will also provide lunch for all volunteers. Interested in volunteering? Call 936-858-3218 (Tuesday–Sunday).

🎶 Bring your water bottle, camera, lawn chair, or blanket, and plan to spend the day with us!

🌼 Event Etiquette:
Never touch regalia without permission, and always be gentle and considerate.

💰 Admission is free (donations to Friends of Caddo Mounds, Inc. are appreciated). Plenty of parking available.
