Celebrate the history of the Bluff Schuetzenverein, a German marksmanship and social organization which once made its home on the grounds of Kreische Brewery & Monument Hill state historic sites. In the late 19th and early 20th centuries, the Bluff Schuetzenverein hosted dances, concerts, and shooting competitions which welcomed people from across Texas. Join us to commemorate these traditions with a day of entertainment, local community booths, family activities, living history, food and drink, and more!
The FREE Family Fest includes:
- Guided tours of the Kreische brewery ruins
- Craft & cooking demonstrations
- Special exhibits & presentations
- The Great Bluff Scavenger Hunt - a festival-wide quest to explore the sites!
- Laser shooting gallery
- Festival games, crafts, & photo booth
- Food & drinks
