Join us for the 40th Annual Goliad Massacre & Living History Program celebrating the 190th Anniversary of the Goliad Massacre on March 28 and 29, 2026. This annual event features a battle reenactment on Saturday, camp life demonstrations, and a candle light tour on Saturday night.

Saturday, March 28, 2026

9 a.m. – Gates and camps open to public
10 a.m. – 1st skirmish at Reenactment Field
11 a.m.  – Cannon demonstration at Reenactment Field
12 p.m. – 1836 camp life at Presidio Plaza
1 p.m. – Drill Demonstration at Presidio Plaza
2 p.m. – "The Final Moments of James Walker Fannin Jr." Presenter: Wade Dillon at Chapel Courtyard
3 p.m. – Battle reenactment of the Battle of Coleto Creek at Reenactment Field
5 p.m. – Gates and camps close to the public
6:30-9 p.m. – Candlelight tour, enter at South Gate

Note: Candlelight tour admission is separate from reenactment admission

Sunday, March 29, 2026

9 a.m. – Gates and camps open to public
9:30 a.m. – Death march from chapel to massacre reenactment site
10 a.m. – Execution of Col. Fannin at Presidio Plaza
10:30 a.m. – Massacre Survivor Accounts at Presidio Plaza
11 a.m. – Camps and site close to public and reenactors break camp and depart

  • Wristbands for admission are ONLY available at Presidio La Bahía
  • Presales start March 9 at 10 a.m. at Presidio La Bahía
  • Wristbands can be purchased the day of the event at Presidio La Bahía
  • Saturday and Sunday: $5 each day per person over 6 years old
  • Candlelight Tour: $5 per person
